As CEO, Lawrence leads the development of the strategic vision for Onyx + East.  She is focused on expanding the reach and breadth of Onyx + East within Indiana, Florida and beyond to new markets as well as driving innovation, culture, and execution within the organization. Prior to joining Onyx + East, Lawrence served as a partner in multiple full-service development and construction firms specializing in institutional quality multi-family communities throughout the Midwest, helping to grow those companies project portfolios and market reach.  Lawrence has been involved in the development of approximately 4,500 multi-family, for-sale, and rental residential units, valued at more than $750 million, in numerous markets across the Midwest. Lawrence started her career in the public sector, where she served as the long-range planner for the City of Carmel, Indiana. Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University, with a double major in economics. Subsequently, she achieved a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, majoring in marketing. She has been a volunteer leader in numerous organizations including serving as Chair for the Indiana District Council of the Urban land Institute, Chair of the Riley Children’s Foundation Riley Society Board, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Ball State University Alumni Council. Ashley has been with the PulteGroup for the past 15 years focused on supply chain and production management.  She is responsible for designing and developing consumer inspired floor plans, optimizing material and labor sourcing activities, and driving innovative supply chain partnerships and strategies.

Edwin Tatum is a passionate real estate professional who is focused on innovation, operational efficiency and integrating technological advances throughout real estate processes. His skill set includes residential/commercial real estate transactions and volumetric modular construction. He’s adroit in the full spectrum of real estate development, including site selection, underwriting, entitlement, pre-construction, and project administration. This extends from acquisition to achieving stabilized occupancy with geographical, political, asset management, lease up, and capital timing considerations. Prior to founding TatumTek in 2019, he was the founder + CEO of DETATE, a premium real estate developer and builder focused on creating modern mixed-use and residential homes. Edwin is among the 2022 cohort of the EY Entrepreneurs Access Network. He joins this nationwide business accelerator designed to support Black and Latino entrepreneurs in transcending barriers and scaling their businesses.

Ryan Melin is the President and Co-Founder of Innovative Construction Group (ICG).  He leads the team at ICG and is focused on innovation within the organization and construction industry, utilizing technology, automation, and IP to drive process improvement. ICG is a leading off-site solutions provider focused on single and multi-family wood framed construction with capabilities to handle 10+ million square feet annually.  ICG’s off-site solution includes design services, wall panels, trusses and on-site installation providing a seamless and fully- integrated shell construction process. Prior to co-founding ICG in 2009, Ryan got his start in the industry in 2005 working for Stock Building Supply (SBS). In 2006, Ryan moved to Jacksonville to lead an operation for SBS with Manufacturing, Distribution, and Installation capabilities. Ryan earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Physics from Wartburg College in 2003 and a M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Florida State University in 2005.
